About Us
We are a Bible-teaching, gospel-preaching, Jesus-following church, where we believe what Christians have believed throughout the ages. We call the world to repent and believe, and we live what we preach.
REFORMED
God is completely sovereign over all. Our salvation is by grace alone through faith alone, and that faith is a gift of God to his people.
EVANGELICAL
Christians must declare the gospel to all people and nations, calling them to repent of their sins and believe in Jesus Christ our Lord.
CONSERVATIVE
The church has turned away from fundamental Christian beliefs. We reject this turning away and affirm what the church has always believed.
WHAT DO WE BELIEVE?
Our Foundational Beliefs
Scripture is our supreme authority for all matters of faith and belief; we believe that the Westminster Standards (the confession and both catechisms) accurately state the teachings of the Bible.
The Holy Scriptures
The Word of God is our only infallible rule of faith and practice.
Westminster Confession of Faith
A faithful summary of many core biblical doctrines.
Westminster Larger Catechism
A series of questions detailing many aspects of the faith.
Westminster Shorter Catechism
A condensed version of the Larger Catechism, suitable for memorization.
Our Core Values
What Makes Us Unique
1. We are Zealous.
Just as Christ was overcome by zeal for the house of the Lord, we are jealous for the purity and growth of his church.
2. We are Antifragile.
We believe that suffering is a feature, not a bug, of the Christian life, and it is only through such trials that the Lord will make us what he desires us to be.
3. We are Direct.
Much of the current church, even the orthodox, evangelical church, has been unwilling to speak plainly about the truth; we must speak clearly.
4. We are Entreprenuerial.
Because our nation’s institutions are increasingly dominated by those opposed to Christianity, we need to be willing to take risks and start new organizations and businesses in our communities.
OUR TEAM
Our Leadership
We believe that where God has built his church, he will call those he wishes to serve as leaders. We take seriously the leadership requirements the Bible gives us in 1 Timothy and Titus.
